Back to School: Education Support for Refugee Children
In collaboration with Kazi Mbere Foundation, Shared path Uganda is implementing a 1-year education project to improve access and quality of primary education for 1,200 refugee and host community children in Rwamwanja.
Activities include distribution of scholastic materials, training 60 teachers on inclusive and psychosocial support methods, and establishing 12 Child Well-being Clubs to prevent school dropout and SGBV.
The project prioritizes girls and children with disabilities. Expected outcomes: 90% enrolment rate, 80% attendance, and reduced cases of child Labor + early marriage through community sensitization and parent engagement.
